New Initiatives Launched During Inauguration
Digital India Bhashini
- This will facilitate simple voice-based access to digital services and the internet in Indian languages, as well as aid in the production of content in vernacular languages.
‘Digital India GENESIS’
- It serves as a national deep-tech startup platform for Tier II and Tier III Indian cities(underdeveloped) in order to find, nurture, and create successful firms.
‘India Stack.Global’
- It is a global repository of key projects implemented under India Stack like Aadhaar, UPI, Digilocker, Cowin Vaccination Platform, Government e MarketPlace, DIKSHA Platform, and Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission.
- This contribution from India to the Global Public Digital Goods Repository would assist establish India as the pioneer in developing large-scale Digital Transformation projects.

‘MyScheme’
- It is a portal for finding services that make access to government programs easier.
- It aims to provide a one-stop search and discovery site where users can find schemes that they are eligible for.
‘Meri Pehchaan’- National Single Sign-On (NSSO) for One Citizen Login
- It is a user authentication service in which a single set of credentials can grant access to numerous web applications or services with National Single Sign-On, a user authentication service.
Chips to Startup Programme
- The C2S Programme aims to train specialised manpower in the area of design of semiconductor chips at Bachelors, Masters, and Research levels.
Digital India Programme
- Aim – Digital India is a flagship programme of the Government of India with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.
- Launched in 2015
- A number of significant government initiatives, including BharatNet, Make in India, Startup India, Standup India, industrial corridors, etc., have access to the program.

Major Schemes Under Digital India
- Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Sakshartha Abhiyaan (PMGDISHA)
- It aims to bridge the digital divide, specifically targetting the rural population including the marginalised sections of society like Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST), Minorities, Below Poverty Line (BPL), women and differently-abled persons, and minorities.
- Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY)
- PMJDY is a National Mission on Financial Inclusion encompassing an integrated approach to bring about comprehensive financial inclusion for all the households in the country.
- The plan envisages universal access to banking facilities, at least one basic banking account in every household, financial literacy, and access to credit, insurance, and pension facility.
- Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana(PMKVY)
- The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
